is a 2012 racing video game with nonlinear gameplay, developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. Announced on 4 June 2012, during EA's E3 press conference, Most Wanted is the nineteenth title in the long-running Need for Speed series and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android, beginning in North America on 30 October 2012, with a Wii U version following on 14 March 2013 under the title Need for Speed: Most Wanted U.

is a racing video game, the eighteenth title in the long-running Need for Speed franchise, and developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. The Wii and 3DS versions were developed by Firebrand Games, the team behind Undercover and Nitro (both DS versions). It was released in North America on November 15, 2011 and November 18, 2011 in Europe.

Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed

is a racing video game, and part of the Need for Speed series. It was developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts. Shift 2: Unleashed was released worldwide during March and April 2011, although it has yet to be released in Japan. Shift 2: Unleashed for the PlayStation 3 has been made available as a free download during the month of April, 2012 (starting 4/3) to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

is a 2010 racing video game developed by British games developer Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii, iOS, Android, webOS and Windows Phone. The Wii version was developed by Exient Entertainment. Hot Pursuit is the sixteenth Need for Speed title and was released in November 2010, with digital download versions released within December 2010. Hot Pursuit's gameplay is set in the fictional Seacrest County, in which players can compete in several types of races. Players can also compete online (except in the Wii version), which includes additional game modes such as Hot Pursuit, Interceptor and Race.

is a 14th installment in the long-running racing video game franchise Need for Speed. It was published by Electronic Arts for the Wii and Nintendo DS platforms, It is also the only game to date in the franchise to not be made for PC. It was announced in January as part of a three-game announcement that includes Need for Speed: Shift and Need for Speed: World. The game was developed by EA Montreal who have previous experience with Nintendo titles, although the DS version was developed separately by Firebrand Games' Florida studio. An improved version of the DS edition of the game, Need for Speed: Nitro-X, was released for DSiWare in November 2010.

is the 12th installment of the popular racing video game series Need for Speed, developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts (EA). It was released on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360 and Wii platforms in November 2008. According to EA, the game has sold over 5.2 million copies on all 8 platforms combined. Need for Speed: Undercover is also the very last Need for Speed game to be released for a sixth-generation gaming console (in this case, the PlayStation 2). Undercover is the last of the second era of Need for Speed games, although it is the first game in the series to use the current logo and typeface.

Need for Speed: ProStreet

is the 11th installment of Electronic Arts popular racing game series Need for Speed. On May 21, 2007, Electronic Arts published a teaser trailer of ProStreet, and officially announced it ten days later. It was released worldwide in November 2007. Its action footage was used in American Le Mans Series. ProStreet was the first PlayStation 3 game with DualShock 3 rumble support.

 

The demo, featuring two races, one speed challenge and one grip race, appeared on Xbox Live on October 26, 2007, on PlayStation Store on November 1, 2007, and on PC on November 2, 2007. ndercover.

also known as NFS Carbon or NFSC, is an Electronic Arts video game belonging to the Need for Speed series. Released in 2006, it is the tenth installment, preceded by Need for Speed: Most Wanted, succeeded by Need for Speed: ProStreet in release order and succeeded by Need for Speed: Undercover in chronological order. This was the first game to gain the PEGI Rating of 12+. The game is a sequel to 2005's Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The locations of both Most Wanted and Carbon (Rockport and Palmont, respectively) are featured in the 2010 MMO game, Need for Speed: World.

Burnout Paradise

is the fifth game in the main Burnout racing video game series and seventh overall. It was developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in January 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and on 5 February 2009 for Microsoft Windows. It was also released on the PlayStation Store in September 2008 and via Xbox Live Marketplace's Games on Demand 25 August 2009. It was later added to the libraries of Greatest Hits and Platinum Hits titles.

 

Paradise's gameplay is set in the fictional "Paradise City", an open world in which players can compete in several types of races. Players can also compete online, which includes additional game modes, such as "Cops and Robbers". Several free game updates introduce new features such as a time-of-day cycle and motorcycles.

is the twelfth installment in the EA Sports NASCAR series, it is the sequel to 2007 game NASCAR 08. It is developed by EA Tiburon and released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile phones in North America on June 10, 2008. On March 12, 2008, EA announced Jeff Gordon as the cover athlete for NASCAR 09. Through the career mode, "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup", Gordon leads a mentoring program, a new feature offered in NASCAR 09. This is also the third EA Sports NASCAR video game to appear on a handheld system for Mobile phone version.

is a kart racing video game that was released for the Wii console on February 10, 2009. The game features fourteen real world NASCAR drivers and ten fictional drivers. The cover drivers are, from left to right, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Jimmie Johnson. Other drivers featured in the game are Jeff Burton, Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Elliott Sadler, and Matt Kenseth. Joey Logano and Richard Petty are unlockable drivers in the game.[2]

is a go-kart/car racing video game developed by Electronic Arts as a spin-off from its trademark The Sims series of simulation games. The title is developed and it was released on June 9, 2009 for the Nintendo DS and Wii.

 

Though similar to Mario Kart, the game offers some unique gameplay features, such as a Story Mode (similar to the rebooted Need for Speed series), basic car and character customization, and the ability to transfer cars to and from Wii Remotes.

is a racing video game for the Nintendo 64. It was released in Japan as City Tour GrandPrix: Zen Nihon GT Senshuken with two new Japanese Exclusive tracks in 1998. Hence its title, it was an official licensed game to All-Japan GT Championship, featuring cars and drivers of the 1997 season. GT and Grand Tour our references to long distance traveling such as in the traditional version of the Grand Tour. It was first released on Super Famicom as Zen-Nippon GT Senshuken. It was also the final game ever published by Ocean Software.

High Capital City of Battle '94 Drift King Tsutiya Kei), is a Japan-only racing game for the Super Famicom.

 

Summary

The player controls a stock car across various circuits (highway, race track, driving school or tōge) in either the scenario or the practice mode of the game. It was published by Bullet-Proof Software (BPS). This game is the first of the long-running series of Shutokō Battle games. These games were eventually known under various names abroad including Tokyo Xtreme Racer in North America and Tokyo Highway Challenge in Europe. "Drift King" is the trademark nickname of Japanese pro racing and former street racing driver Keiichi Tsuchiya.

 

A sequel Shutokō Battle 2 was released in 1995.

 

Zen-Nippon GT Senshuken (全日本GT選手権, "All Japan GT Championship")

is a racing video game about Gran Turismo class automobiles on Japanese road courses. It was released exclusively for the Super Famicom on September 29, 1995.

 

Summary

Zen-Nippon GT Senshuken was loosely based on the 1995 Super GT season. The game is considered to be a prequel to GT 64: Championship Edition. The object is to win a championship so that the player can become the best Gran Turismo sports car driver in all of Japan. Simplified controls are used in the game; two buttons serves as acceleration and another two buttons serve as brakes.

 

Along with the game there is a memorial CD which has driver interviews and the sound of the vehicles on it.

 

F355 Challenge

is a racing simulation arcade video game based on the actual race car and Ferrari event. It was developed by the AM2 division of Sega for arcades under the direction of Yu Suzuki, and was later ported to the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 under the names F355 Challenge: Passione Rossa and Ferrari F355 Challenge respectively for both American and European releases. The only model of car featured in the game is the Ferrari F355 Challenge model. The game was considered the most accurate simulation of the F355 possible up until that time.

Sega GT, known as Sega GT Homologation Special (SegaGT ホモロゲーションスペシャル)

in Japan, is a semi-simulation style racing game co-developed by Wow Entertainment and TOSE, and published by Sega for their Dreamcast home console. The game was released in Japan on February 17, 2000; in North America on August 28, 2000; and in Europe on December 1, 2000. A Microsoft Windows version was published the following year—in North America by Activision, and in Europe by Empire Interactive.

 

Sega GT was intended by Sega to rival Sony's popular Gran Turismo racing series, which was driving the strong sales of the PlayStation console and raising interest in the Dreamcast's closest competitor, the yet-unreleased PlayStation 2. While Sega GT was met with positive reception, sales were only modest, and the Dreamcast was given little traction against its competition. Despite this, Sega would continue the series on the Xbox with a sequel titled, Sega GT 2002.
